Salt Lake County and northward were expected to get another round of new snow for the Monday morning drive, said 2News Chief Meteorologist Lindsay Storrs.

There's a final disturbance from the weekend storm that will be hitting during peak drive times, though it's not expected to be as heavy as the snow was over the past few days.

Storrs said areas from the Point of the Mountain northward could be affected mostly between 7 - 9 a.m.v

Temperatures will also be below freezing for most of the commute, so the chances of hitting icy areas is increased.

"It's just going to be light snow, but with temperatures in the 20s, roads are going to be slick," Storrs said.

The day will remain chilly and won't climb out of the 30s.

"Give yourself some extra time," Storrs said, "especially if you commute between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m."
