The Republican presidential primary and municipal elections are just over a week away and early voting just started.

Right now, you can vote at any voting location but on election day, Tuesday, March 19, 2024, you can only vote at your assigned precinct.

However, the presidential Republican primary ballot may be a little confusing to voters because there are seven GOP presidential candidates on the ballot, but all but one of them have suspended their races.

These candidates haven’t actually filed the paperwork to withdraw from the race and because they didn’t formally withdraw their names they will still appear on the ballot.

Some voters tell CBS12 news that they want to make their voices heard whether they're voting in the Republican primary election or their local municipal election.

"General and bigger elections I get those are like more national, but things that can affect your everyday living. That's where the municipal laws come in," said Lester Aponte.

"It's American, American way. We need to get our country back in order," said Adam Miller.

"Voting is important. Democracy is important. I always make sure that my voice is heard," said Chris Muller.

Early voting ends March 16 or 17 depending on your county.

But those early voting can stop by polling locations from 7 am to 7 pm, make sure you have a valid ID that has a photo and signature to vote.

You can find more information on voting based on your county below:

According to the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections website, the county has 327,128 registered Democrats, 271,906 Republicans, and 264,972 others. As of Sunday evening, 43,164 people voted which is a 8.57 percent voter turnout.
