Obviously, RE Himalayan BS VI. most shortcomings of the bs IV version have been worked upon, re designed and re engineered, modified or a new part added. And all this makes this bike an absolute pleasure to drive, both in the city as well as off road. the only benefit that i see of the bs IV version is probably the lower price.

BS6 Himalayan is better compared to BS4 as BS6 was built after considering the complaints and issues mentioned in BS4 model. And I've seen many BS4 owners complaining about suspension issue which was rectified in BS6.

I personally prefer the new bs6 with fuel injection to the carburettor model. If I was doing a multiple country off road ride I would opt for a low mileage used bs4.
