Tekamah-Herman finally got its opening baseball games of its inaugural season going on Monday, March 18.
The Tigers, coached by Zane Boswell and Mason Vrbka, competed in a triangular with Omaha Northwest at South Sioux City on Monday afternoon. The Tigers fell short in both games, 6-4 to Omaha Northwest and a high scoring 16-15 affair to SSC.
The Tigers were held to four hits against the Class A Huskies. Tristan Tobin and Caden Booth led the T-H offense with a double apiece. Booth’s double drove in a run. Cale Belfrage and Landon Miller also hit safely for the Tigers. Belfrage’s hit drove in a run, both he and Miller scored a run. Parke Loftis and Grady Belfrage also each scored a run.
