The 11,300-square-foot Dreamlab, located in the Vestavia City Center at 600 Montgomery Highway, Suite 208, will be the largest in the country.

A Girl Scout DreamLab as “an innovative program-based experience center concept designed to enhance the Girl Scout presence in communities and host one-of-a-kind programming for children, families and Girl Scouts,” according to a release.

Girl Scout DreamLabs seek to improve access to staff for volunteers, troops, and girls by providing a multi-use programmatic experience center, spaces for Girl Scouts to connect.

The first Girl Scout DreamLab opened in Colorado in March 2023.

The Vestavia City Center Girl Scout DreamLab location will include six STEM labs, an arts section, auditorium, meeting space, media center, mock campsite, rock climbing wall, huddle stations and retail space for Girl Scout apparel, accessories and supplies.

Construction on the Vestavia location started Feb. 1 with Pylon serving as the general contractor. The lab will open in July with a soft opening in June.
