Young Sheldon
Young Sheldon, a prequel to the long-running CBS comedy The Big Bang Theory, chronicles Sheldon Cooper’s coming of age in the fictitious town of Medford, Texas. Over the course of seven seasons, the spinoff follows the future theoretical physicist from ages 9 to 14, before he moves to Pasadena, Calif., to attend the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). The series is told from the point of view of a more mature Sheldon, who is now a father and seeing his parents in a different light.
In addition to Jim Parsons, who voices Sheldon and serves as an executive producer, several other Big Bang actors have made cameos, including Kaley Cuoco, Mayim Bialik and Simon Helberg.
The ensemble includes Iain Armitage as Sheldon Cooper; Zoe Perry as Mary; Lance Barber as George Sr.; Annie Potts as Meemaw; Montana Jordan as Georgie; Emily Osment as Mandy; and Raegan Revord as Missy.
Young Sheldon airs Thursdays at 8/7c on CBS, and can be streamed next day on Paramount+. Previous seasons are available to watch on Max and Netflix.
