TWO RIVERS, Wis. — Authorities and residents continue to search for missing 3-year-old Elijah Vue in Two Rivers, Wis. where he vanished nearly two weeks ago.

The boy was last seen Feb. 20. One week later, the FBI posted a reward up to $15,000 for information on Elijah's whereabouts.

On Saturday and Sunday, search crews from the Wisconsin National Guard conducted ground searches in Manitowoc County, while the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) helped dive teams check near the shorelines of Lake Michigan and Twin River. Drone and dog teams continue to follow up on specific tips.

Prosecutors say his mother Katrina Baur sent him to stay with Jesse Vang in Two Rivers before the boy disappeared, leading to charges of felony child neglect for both. Baur is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer.

The Two Rivers Police Department is providing almost daily Facebook updates on the search for Elijah. Authorities have searched the city, including waterways, storm sewers, landfills and quarries, as well as nearby towns and the shores of Lake Michigan.

The department asked that people continue to search and show support by displaying blue and green ribbons and lights.

Baur and Vang both appeared for their initial court appearances Monday afternoon, at which time preliminary hearings were set for March 7, according to court records.

If you have any information on Elijah's disappearance or whereabouts, you can text the Two Rivers Police Department tip line at 844-267-6648 or contact Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers
