NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Cameron Matthews and Josh Hubbard each scored 18 points and ninth-seeded Mississippi State dominated fifth-ranked Tennessee 73-56 Friday in the Southeastern Conference Tournament quarterfinals.
This victory should push the Bulldogs (21-12) firmly off the NCAA Tournament bubble with their second win over No. 1 seed Tennessee this season. They are in the semifinals for the first time since winning the event in 2009.

The Cougars will play Iowa State in the title game after the Cyclones defeated Baylor, 76-62.

NO. 5 SAN DIEGO STATE 86, NO. 1 UTAH STATE 70: Jaedon LeDee had 22 points and eight rebounds as the Aztecs made another Mountain West title game with a victory over the Aggies. San Diego State will play either seventh-seeded Colorado State or No. 6 seed New Mexico in Saturday's final.
