Certified Nursing Assistant Programming

CNA Training Course

Overview and Benefits

We are excited to offer a combined Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) Certificate Training, open to all St. Kate’s students at a lower cost than other area certificate classes. The program fee is an all-inclusive cost, and at completion, you will have your CNA certification and AHA/CPR card.

The certificate training fee includes a class fee, exam fees, and AHA/CPR card fee.

Registration is limited to 24 students for each session (classes offered in January, Spring, and August). If we do not meet our minimum enrollment numbers, the CNA and BLS training will be canceled, and all payments will be refunded.

The schedule and registration for upcoming CNA training are available on the Continuing Education Web Catalog.

CNA coordinator Erica Largent

Meet CNA Coordinator, Erica Largent

Hello! My name is Erica Largent, and I coordinate and teach in the certified nursing assistant training course at St. Catherine University.

I have been a nurse for over 16 years and have a varied bedside, administrative, and nursing education background. My passion for nursing education began when I was an undergraduate nursing student. Working with the pre-nursing and nursing students at St. Catherine University is my honor and pleasure. I am a St. Catherine MSN: Nurse Educator graduate enrolled in our Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) to continue my passion for nursing education.
