Zain Bahrain proudly supports the first edition of Startup Boot Camp

Zain Bahrain, the most innovative telecom provider in the Kingdom, extends its support to Startup Bootcamp’s first edition this year which was organized by Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This goes in line with its partnership with the SME Development and Support Center.

Focusing on the ICT Industry, the program aims to transform startup ideas into real operating businesses. The Bootcamp is a five-phased program that consists of Applications, Business Modeling and Planning, Mentoring, Finance and finally Obtaining CR and Start Operations.

A key role in the program is the mentoring stage, which concentrates on bringing in experts such as Frederic Patricelli and Daniel Kerreh from the industry to share their knowledge and expertise with the candidates. In line with the strategic partnership between Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, SME Development and Support Center and Zain Bahrain and their commitment towards the advancement of the Kingdom, Frederic Patricelli, Daniel Kerreh and Jean Luc delivered a mentoring session in support of the initiative.

“We are committed to leverage on our technical expertise and strong partnerships in the community and to continuously support entrepreneurs and young individuals with a startup dream” said Pakiza Abdulrahman from Zain Bahrain.

“Supporting a program such as Startup Bootcamp and providing them with mentorship goes in line with our strategic approach, which focuses on educating and empowering youth. We are proud to contribute to an initiative that targets university graduates and sharing with them the technical skills we have learnt over the years” she added.
