JANESVILLE — A Janesville production company’s short film placed high enough at the Filmapalooza festival last week in Lisbon, Portugal, to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

More than 200 filmmakers from around the world gathered in Lisbon March 20-23, for what amounted to the finale festival for the 48 Hour Film Project.
