With April proclaimed National Donate Life Month by the White House, Vitalant will be having nine blood drives in Flagstaff in addition to one in Rimrock and one in Williams.
Donors who sign up for Vitalant's rewards program and donate between April 1 and April 20 will be entered to win one of 20 $420 gift cards. The donation for Rimrock will be on April 20 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Beaver Creek Baptist Church located at 3705 E. Beaver Creek Road. The donation for Williams is scheduled for April 29 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Williams High School, located at 440 S. 7th Street.
For Flagstaff, the first five donations will take place in the first eight days of the month. On April 2 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., donations will be taken at the Flagstaff Police Department at 911 E. Sawmill Road. On April 3, the Bloodmobile will be at 2321 N. Fourth Street between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Then Findlay Toyota, at 5030 Marketplace Drive, will host the blood donations from noon to 5 p.m. on April 5 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 6. The Flagstaff City Council Chambers at 211 W. Aspen Ave. will host the donations between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on April 8.
During the second half of the month, the Flagstaff Medical Center will host donations between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on April 17. On April 19 from noon to 5 p.m., San Francisco de Asis Catholic School at 1600 E. Route 66 will hold donations and Flagstaff High School at 400 W. Elm Ave. will do so from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on April 24. Fratelli Pizza will host the final donation of the month on April 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2118 N. Fourth Street.
