HOLBROOK, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — A fiery crash on eastbound Interstate 40 closed the highway in Sun Valley, Arizona, northeast of Holbrook.

The crash was east of state Route 77, and drivers were advised to seek alternate routes. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said a commercial vehicle caught on fire.

Initially, the Arizona Department of Transportation said there is no estimated time when the eastbound lanes will reopen, but the westbound lanes are unaffected. The eastbound lane of I-40 has since reopened.
