McRae-Helena Police find man dead in SUV in cemetery

McRAE-HELENA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Officers with the McRae-Helena Police Department find a man dead inside a vehicle in a cemetery.

On Thursday, McRae-Helena Police were dispatched to the area of E. Magnolia Street for a shots fired call around 1:30 a.m.

Officers say that’s where they found 33-year-old Montez Edronz McMillian, of McRae-Helena, dead in an SUV in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

They say the shooting occurred near E. Magnolia Street and Daughtry Avenue. According to police, after McMillian was shot, he went through a fence in his SUV at Oak Grove Cemetery.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The McRae-Helena Police Department has called in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to help solve this case.
