Minico’s CJ Latta cemented herself as one of the state’s top hoopers during a record-breaking junior season.
Now, Latta ended her prep career as one of the seven area girls basketball All-State members, which the Idaho Statesman released Thursday.
Latta, a Utah State signee, became a two-time First Team 4A All-State selection and helped Minico to back-to-back Great Basin Conference titles.
She averaged 28.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists and three steals a game.
Latta chose Utah State over offers from 17 Division I universities, including Hawaii, Cornell, Portland State, Nevada, Idaho and Wyoming.
Minico coach Anna Bateman said a little girl dressed as CJ Latta for Halloween. Latta, a Minico "icon" signed with Utah State on Wednesday.
Dietrich also led the Magic Valley with two Second Team 1A DII All-State selections — senior Saige Hubert and junior Katilyn Wanamaker.

Katilyn Wanamaker's work in the paint, on the glass and on the floor keyed Dietrich and stopped Deary’s stingy defense, 29-26, to advance to its second straight state title game.
Hubert and Wanamaker averaged double-digit scoring and helped Dietrich to back-to-back state runner-up finishes.
Filer’s Hazel Fischer helped the Wildcats to their fifth straight Sawtooth Central Idaho Conference title and grabbed First Team 3A All-State honors.
Filer won the consolation trophy at the state tournament. Fischer, a senior, averaged 12.1 points and 9.1 rebounds a game.
