West Burlington reveals 2023 Business of the Year award

WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa (KWQC) - The city of West Burlington has revealed the winner of the 2023 Businesses of the Year award to KPI Concepts.

According to officials, this award recognizes the contributions of a West Burlington businesses that has demonstrated outstanding performance, growth, and service to the community.

According to officials, the winner is selected based on the following criteria; growth in taxable valuation, job growth, community impact, facility renovation, expansion and beautification, and exceptional customer service.

Located at 1415 West Mt. Pleasant Street in West Burlington, KPI Concepts is a manufacturer of store fixtures, displays, and check lanes used by national grocery and retail chains.

According to officials, the award ceremony is set to take place on March. 21st at 11:00a.m. at KPI Concepts. Elected officials and city staff will surprise KPI Concepts with their reward and a small reception at their business

Nominations for this award were accepted during January and were voted on by a panel of West Burlington elected officials, city and school district staff.
