Gasoline tank truck fire closed I-91 South in Enfield

ENFIELD, CT (WFSB) - A gasoline tank truck fire closed I-91 southbound in Enfield on Sunday afternoon.
The fire department responded to reports of a gasoline tank truck fire on I-91 near Exit 49 in Enfield around 2:20p.m. on Sunday.
The truck is assumed to have 8,000 gallons of gasoline on board.
Traffic was significantly backed up due to this incident.
This remains an active investigation.
