Moberly Public Utilities issued a boil advisory Friday for residents in the 900 block of Charles Street and the 800 and 900 blocks of Sinnock Avenue and the surrounding area.

Water service was interrupted Friday due to an emergency water main repair, according to a news release the city posted on Facebook.

The city said water service will be restored once repairs are completed but gave no time frame for how long the repairs would take.

Customers who have no water or low water pressure will have a 48-hour boil advisory when water service is restored, the city said.
