The Kinetic Green E-Luna was launched two months ago and deliveries for the same started a few weeks after that. And now, it seems like the EV maker is working on diversifying its electric scooter portfolio as an upcoming Kinetic Green scooter has been spied testing.
From the spy shots, we can see that the electric scooter gets a suspension setup of telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers while braking duties are handled by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. It gets a hub motor, single-piece grab rail and a single-piece contoured seat with enough room for two adults. The floorboard space is quite generous and the pillion footrest design looks quite similar to that of the Ather 450X.
The only scooter in Kinetic Green’s lineup with a top speed of more than 25kmph is the Kinetic Green Flex (72kmph top speed) and we think the upcoming electric scooter will be based on the same platform as it gets similar underpinnings except for the rear drum brake. So, it is expected to get the same 3kWh capacity battery pack with a claimed range of 120km and a charging time of 5 hours. This will allow the EV maker to have 2 premium offerings in its lineup with a top speed of 72kmph: one with a retro-looking design and the other with more modern styling.
The upcoming electric scooter from Kinetic Green will likely get the similar Rs 1,09,000 (ex-showroom Maharashtra including EMPS 2024 subsidy) price tag as the Flex. It is expected to be launched in the next few months.
