Road closures on tap Sunday for Mystic Irish Parade
There will be road closures and parking bans in place on Sunday during the Mystic Irish Parade.
The parade starts at 1 p.m. at Mystic Seaport Museum on Route 27, travels onto Willow Street, Broadway and East Main Street and ends at the Mystic Museum of Art on Water Street.
The Stonington and Town of Groton police departments said road closures will start at about 12:30 p.m. and will remain in effect until approximately 30 minutes after the end of the parade.
The temporary no parking order will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday on multiple roads in the vicinity of the parade route.
Alcohol consumption of any kind in public areas is not allowed.
