Body of missing woman found

Police on Thursday asked for help the woman who was last seen in Firestone. Her body was found Friday.

MILLIKEN, Colo. — The body of a woman who had been missing since Tuesday was found on Friday, according to the woman's family.

The woman left her home in Milliken, just east of Johnstown in Weld County, at 11:38 a.m. Tuesday, April 2. Her last known location was in Firestone at 12:41 p.m. that same day, according to the Milliken Police Department.

The woman's daughter confirmed on Friday that her mother's body had been found. The woman's cause of death will on be shared with her family, her daughter said. She also asked for privacy for her family.

Family, friends, law enforcement, and strangers helped lead a search for her Thursday.
