Body of Massachusetts woman found in Gouldsboro

GOULDSBORO, Maine (WABI) - A Silver Alert has been canceled for a Massachusetts woman who was staying with her sister in Gouldsboro and went missing this week.
They say the body of 61-year-old Lori Ann Read was found in a wooded area about a mile away from her last known location.
Friday a large land and air search involving multiple agencies from across Maine took place in the area.
The Silver Alert lasted 24 hours.
Her body was taken to the medical examiners office.
They say Read was last seen Wednesday around 7:30 p.m. wearing a dark blue bathrobe.
