Texas A&M police seeks attempted sexual assault, theft suspect

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KWTX) - The Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD) is looking for a man accused of attempted sexual assault and theft that occurred in Mosher Hall, located on the southside of Texas A&M campus.

At around 5 a.m. on April 14, the victim said she was asleep and woke up to a man in her dorm room displaying a weapon and threatening to sexually assault her. The victim kicked the suspect and he left her dorm room.

Afterwards, the victim discovered her money was missing.

Texas A&M UPD says the identity of the suspect is unknown.

According to police, the victim described the suspect as a ”thin black male in his early 20s with short black hair.” The suspect was reportedly wearing light colored jeans, a black hoodie and a black ball cap.
