2024 Connecticut Primary Election Results
Connecticut GOP and Democratic voters on April 2 will pick their parties’ nominees for U.S. president, helping to confirm the expected rematch between incumbent Democratic President Joe Biden and former Republican President Donald Trump in November.
In the 2020 matchup between them, Biden collected Connecticut’s 7 electoral votes after receiving 59.24% of the presidential vote compared with Trump’s 39.21% total. The 20.03% margin of victory was 365,389 votes.
A Republican candidate for president hasn’t won Connecticut since George H. W. Bush in 1988.
