Texarkana, Arkansas - Texarkana Arkansas Police Chief Michael Kramm is leaving in early May.Â
Chief Kramm says he will be leaving due to family obligations he has to take care in southeast Texas.
He wrote a letter to the TAPD announcing his departure.Â
"I will be leaving many new friends, and while that pains me, I am incredibly thankful that I am lucky enough to have met so many wonderful and truly good people. Team TAPD will always hold a place in my heart. I will miss you all," Chief Michael Kramm said.Â
