France superstar Antoine Dupont produced a moment of magic on his return to the 15-a-side game, leaving fans awe-struck yet again.

Toulouse faced Bordeaux-Begles away from home on Sunday, March 24, in the Top 14. And it was Dupont's big return after being away with the Sevens team.

The rugby star was named on the replacements' bench as the extra scrum-half, but came on to exchange places with an injured Thomas Ramos at fly-half after just four minutes. The Olympic hopeful had a blinder of a game, typified by a moment of class on the stroke of the hour.

The hybrid half-back started the move on the left side with a strong hand-off before hitting an arcing line towards the left corner. Right before a tackle was made Dupont flicked it out the back door into Matthis Lebel to complete a truly sensational score. Fans have been simply blown away by this passage of play.

"I think he’s undoubtedly the most talented player ever, maybe only Dan Carter comes close in that category. Just hasn’t got enough on his resume in terms of intl success to be in the GOAT conversation yet," said one.

"Watched this live - played at No.10 for all but 10 mins. Best player on the planet by miles!" said another.

The world's best player missed the Six Nations due to his commitments with the Sevens team, who were in Los Angeles and other locations on the HSBC Sevens circuit. Dupont took time away to prioritise his preparations for the Paris Olympics in the summer.

Despite his absence from the Test match scene of late, the 27-year-old has still been playing for his club side Toulouse in the 15-a-side game, turning out at fly-half in some games too.

It wasn't Dupont's only moment of class in this game, though. With five minutes to play and Toulouse in search of a win, the fly-half broke the Bordeaux defensive line from inside his own 22 with a smart step and raw gas, taking the French champions all the way to the opposite 22.

Despite coming close in the closing stages, Toulouse were denied victory as Dupont's France team-mate Damien Penaud bundled Juan Cruz Mallia into touch with a big drive to win the game 31-28.
