Are you a Black adult age 60 or older? Join USC's mindful walking study

The study will last six months and will center around the SC State House walking trail and USC campus.

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The University of South Carolina's Emotion, Cognition, and Health Outcomes (ECHO) Lab is looking for Black adults age 60 or older to participate in a mindful walking study.

The lab is conducting a CDC-funded mindful walking study for local African American older adults, and is seeking participants to join their research efforts.

The study, which will look at the benefits of outdoor mindful walking for mental and cognitive health, will last six months and will center around the SC State House walking trail and USC campus.
