It’s a change after the National Cancer Institute reported rising rates of the disease in women in their 40s. The task force says the new recommendations will save nearly 20% more lives.
Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes said she has a strong case to delay the start of the near-total abortion ban but is also considering other options. She is asking for a 90-day delay, which would start on April 26. Mayes said she is also considering appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court.
