The National Weather Service survey team also reported preliminary evidence of a tornado hitting the area of Stonefort. The high winds also caused damage to homes and power poles.
Survey crews also found evidence of tornadoes hitting in Saline County, just southwest of Eldorado and another track of tornadic evidence of the west side of Ridgway in Gallatin County.
The National Weather Service sent out preliminary damage results this afternoon (4/4/24). EF-2 damage was found near the Lake of Egypt, EF-1 damage near Stonefort, EF-2 damage just southeast of Eldorado, and EF-1 damage on the west side of Ridgway.Â
