Rachel Bear, the officer-in-charge of the Fort Lee Veterinary Treatment Facility, discusses the feral cat population and veterinary services here. The VTF is professionally staffed by Army Veterinary Corps personnel with the primary mission of providing complete veterinary care for all government-owned animals.

Listen to the Fort Lee Podcast – Episode 14 (Feb. 27, 2023) - In episode 14 of the Fort Lee Podcast, Joint Culinary Center of Excellence advanced culinary instructors Guy Winks and Staff Sgt. Jasmine Blade hype the upcoming 47th Annual Joint Culinary Training Exercise, March 4-10, at the MacLaughlin Fitness Center. The JCTE is the largest military culinary competition in North America and showcases the talents of military chefs from around the globe in all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. International teams include France, Germany and Great Britain.

Guests Daisy Ling and Jeff Koch from Hunt Property Management discuss the need for volunteers for the Community Advisory Board, construction in Harrison Villa, getting ready for the holiday season and winter in Fort Lee's on-post housing.

Listen to the Fort Lee Podcast – Episode 12 (Oct. 27, 2022) – In episode 12 of the Fort Lee Podcast, Director Frank Foster and Theater Manager Lee Farmer talk about the upcoming Lee Theater season which begins with the production "Into the Woods" thanks to The Theatre Company at Fort Lee in association with the Lee Playhouse and Fort Lee FMWR. The Lee Playhouse presents live theater and has become one of the most active performing groups in the area with a main-stage season producing Broadway musicals, comedies and dramas. Performances are open to the community.

Listen to the Fort Lee Podcast – Episode 11 (Sept. 12, 2022) – In episode 11 of the Fort Lee Podcast, Nancy Burns, the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) Manager here, discusses EFMP and the new Enterprise EFMP system, which went live Aug. 31 and is designed to integrate EFMP enrollment, assignment coordination and family support access for 46,000 enrolled Soldiers and their family members. EFMP is a mandatory enrollment program that works with other military and civilian agencies to provide comprehensive and coordinated community support, housing, educational, medical and personnel services to families with special-needs members. Approximately 9% of active-duty Army Soldiers have family members with special needs, including spouses, children or dependent parents who require special medical or educational services.

School Support Services provides Army school-aged youth with educational opportunities, resources and information necessary to achieve academic success. A branch of Child & Youth Services (CYS), School Support Services features School Liaison Officers (SLOs), who help schools, installations and Families work together for student achievement.

The Army’s goal is for every installation to offer Soldiers and families a high quality of life with appropriate services, programs and facilities in which to live, work or train.

Joseph Colacicco, CASCOM director of training, G3/5/7, discusses the importance of holiday block leave and current procedures in place to help mitigate Soldier exposure to COVID-19. In the second segment, Col. Thomas Allen, Fort Lee senior command chaplain, discusses the planned religious services throughout the holiday season and some of the ways the Religious Support Office is helping service members.

In the second segment, Public Health Nurse Aleisha Manson from Kenner Clinic discusses the Army Tobacco Cessation Program as well as Fort Lee-specific offerings intended to help beneficiaries quit their tobacco use.
