WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Dillon Bridgers, 30, is charged with capital murder in the killings of his parents in rural McLennan County Wednesday morning, an arrest warrant states.

The McLennan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the double homicide at the residence at 5373 Tokio Road after a man and a woman were found dead inside. The crime scene is about seven miles outside West.

Sheriff Parnell McNamara told KWTX the call came in at around 3 a.m. on April 10 and the victims were “gunned down in cold blood.” McNamara said the suspect, identified as Bridgers, was arrested in Waco at about 5 a.m.

The arrest warrant obtained by KWTX includes transcribed portions of the 911 call.

According to document, the suspect’s mother called 911 and the operator who answered the call heard Bridgers asking his mother, “who you calling?”

The operator then heard the woman scream, “give me the gun,” the document states.

Bridgers is then heard yelling, “did you really do that? You called the cops on your son again,” investigators wrote in the warrant.

The victim is once again heard saying, “give me the gun.”

Bridgers then says, “I’m not going to shoot anyone else,” the warrant states.

The victim replies, “give me the gun, you’re losing control.”

In the 911 call recording, Bridgers is heard saying he would not hand over the gun and then warned the victim, “it’s going to happen,” apparently screaming about going to jail, the warrant states.

Bridgers then told his mother, “you don’t give a (expletive) about your kids, you don’t give a (expletive) if they go to jail, that is why you are a piece of (expletive),” investigators further wrote.

“At that time, you can hear (Bridgers) chamber a round in the firearm and the victim yells, ‘Dillon,’ and then you hear a gunshot and someone fall and moan,” the investigators wrote in the affidavit.

“(Bridgers) states, ‘yeah,’ and then fires two more shots,” the investigators further wrote.

Bridgers is then heard speaking to himself and asking himself where the keys to the car are.

The phone call then goes silent.

Bridgers fled the scene before deputies arrived, but called 911 to report he had shot his parents, the arrest warrant states.

The names of the victims were not included in the arrest warrant.

Bridgers is being held without bond at the McLennan County Jail.
