FEE CHANGES

Here is a list of the changes proposed by the City of Florence Electricity Department, which if approved by the city council, would go into effect on May 1.

New Accounts

• Resurvey $50 per hour (formerly $30 per hour)

• Connect after hours (Non-disconnect meter) $225 (formerly $100)

Collection fees

• Reconnection fee $60 (formerly $40)

• Meter tampering/Unauthorized usage $350 1^st time/$500 each time after (formerly $150)

• Meter damage (single-phase) $150 (new fee)

• Meter damage (three-phase) $375 (new fee)

Security Lights

• New Account $100 (formerly $30)

Service Fees

• Engineering fee $100 per hour (formerly $30 per hour)

• Meter test if no problem found (single-phase) $50 (formerly $15)

• Meter test if no problem found (three-phase) $75 (formerly $15)

• Customer request (cutoff/on/tap up) during regular hours $100 per visit (formerly $30)

• Customer request (cutoff/on/tap up) after regular hours $225 per visit (formerly $60)
