Person struck, killed by car after running into traffic in Sun City

SUN CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — One person is dead after being struck by a car while running into oncoming traffic late Tuesday night in Sun City.
According to Department of Public Safety troopers a person was struck while running across Grand Avenue near 103rd Avenue while traffic had a green light. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim hasn’t been identified. Troopers are working to determine additional details about the collision.
