Douglas, Sarpy officials: Nebraska partial 911 outage resolved
Similar outages reported in three other states Wednesday night.
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Officials in Douglas and Sarpy Counties confirmed Thursday morning that the 911 outage experienced in parts of Nebraska has been resolved.
Officials sent notice Wednesday night that some wireless carriers are receiving a busy signal when attempting to call 911.
Douglas County 911 Director Kathy Allen said CenturyLink and its parent company Lumen confirmed there was an outage impacting several Nebraska counties.
Early Thursday morning, Sarpy County 911 posted to social media that the issue has been resolved.

6 On Your Side reached out to Douglas County officials, who confirmed the same thing.
Law enforcement agencies in South Dakota, Nevada, and Texas also reported temporary outages to 911 services before saying hours later that services had been restored. It was not immediately clear what caused the outages or whether they were related.
