Multiple law enforcement agencies have ended a search for a man missing from Jupiter. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Tuesday afternoon that the body of Robert Jaegers, 71, was recovered. Personnel from the Martin County Sheriff's office and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's office located Jaegers inside the Hungryland Preserve just after noon on Tuesday. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office noted the cause of death is not known at this time, and there are no signs of trauma to Jaegers. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office said earlier Tuesday that Jaegers was last seen Monday afternoon near Old Indiantown Road. Because of the search, there was a large law enforcement presence near Indiantown Road and Hungryland Preserve. Editor's note: A previous version of this story noted that Jaegers' age was 81.
