Do you have what it takes to solve this puzzle?

Brain teasers are a fantastic way to give your brain the boost it needs to help you through the day. You can boost your cognitive function, work on problem-solving skills and keep degenerative diseases like dementia at bay just by solving a couple of puzzles every day, so you should always aim to give your brain a workout as often as you can.

And if you're looking for something to exercise your mind today, why not give this baffling optical illusion a go? All you need to do is find the yellow car in the image below.

You have 15 seconds to find the car (

Take a look at the picture above. It's a sight familiar to most motorists, as it depicts a motorway at rush hour with cars filling all the available lanes on both sides. The cars in the image are all different colours from black to green to pink, but there's only one yellow car in the entire image - and your job is to find it.

According to Zippy Cars for Cash, who put together the puzzle, the brainiest among us should be able to find the yellow car in just 15 seconds. So, set yourself a timer and get hunting! Don't worry if it takes you longer than 15 seconds to find the car, as although having a time limit can be good for guidance, you'll still be training your brain even if it takes you a while.

Got it yet? If you're struggling, here's a clue - the car you're looking for is on the left-hand side of the picture. This means you can ignore all the traffic on the right, as you won't find any yellow cars over there.

If you still haven't found it, don't scroll any further as we're going to give you the answer.

If that one was too easy for you, why not try your hand at something a little different? Only sharp-eyed players can spot the hidden number in this tricky puzzle, while this brain teaser is so difficult that only the "smartest people" can find the odd items lurking in the messy suitcase.

There are also different types of puzzles you can try, such as this fiendishly difficult quiz shared by the question editor for BBC Two's Only Connect, or this maths equation that is said to be so tricky that only those with the IQ of Albert Einstein can solve it, or even this Who Wants To Be A Millionaire jackpot question that saw one contestant miss out on £1 million.
