Building that partially collapsed earlier this week in downtown Antigo being razed Wednesday morning

City will raze building Wednesday

ANTIGO, Wis. (WAOW) — A building that was partially demolished Monday in Antigo will be completely taken down Wednesday morning.

On Tuesday, inspectors, local law enforcement, city officials, and business owners spent time looking over the building and discussing its future.

According to the city mayor, Terry Brand, the building will be razed at 8 a.m.

There will be several road closures and detours in preparation for the demolition process.

According to Brand, Highway 45 will be closed through town and detoured west on 'Y' and 'H' and 64 all day and overnight.
