UPDATE - Sunday, March 17, 2024 - 2:00 p.m.

Angleton ISD officials have been checking the schools and district facilities to determine any issues from the storm on Friday and the continuing bad weather. Right now, one campus (Northside) is still without electricity, and several campuses have debris in the parking lots that needs to be cleared. AISD will also need to check bus routes thoroughly for safe passage for our students.

Because of these reasons, classes for students will be canceled tomorrow. There will be no school for students. Employees will report to work tomorrow with the following schedule:

  • All maintenance, technology and custodial staff should report for work at 8:00 a.m.
  • All other staff should report for work at 9:00 a.m.
  • District offices will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If parents have questions, they can contact campuses during that time.
  • If employees have questions, they should contact their supervisor.
