American Airlines adding flights from DFW to Provo, Utah, beginning this fall

Fort Worth-based American Airlines says it will operate two daily flights to Provo from DFW Airport beginning Oct. 7.

FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth-based American Airlines will add flights to Provo, Utah, this fall.

American Airlines says it will operate two daily flights to Provo from DFW Airport beginning Oct. 7. Tickets for the new flights will be available beginning April 22.

Provo will be American Airlines’ third destination in Utah from DFW, along with Salt Lake City International Airport and St. George Regional Airport. American says they relaunched seasonal service between DFW and St. George Regional Airport earlier in April.

American Airlines’ announcement comes shortly after budget carrier Breeze Airways announced its plans to debut at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport with flights between Provo and DFW.

Breeze recently announced that it will offer twice-weekly roundtrip service between Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and the Provo Municipal Airport, about a 45-minute drive from Salt Lake City, on Mondays and Fridays starting June 7.
