Stabbing at Mohawk Dam in Coshocton County

COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio–The Coshocton County Sheriff’s office is investigating a stabbing incident .

On Tuesday shortly before 8:00 p.m. , the Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a stabbing at the Mohawk Dam in Jefferson Twp.

Upon investigation, it was determined that a 29-year-old male from the Akron area was stabbed once by an unknown assailant.

Authorities said the assailant left the scene driving a blue 4 door Honda Civic with a spoiler.

The victim was flown from the scene by air evac and with unknown injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
