One Community Bank opens new location in Cottage Grove

COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. (WKOW) -- One Community Bank will have a public ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their new location on April 23. The new building officially opened at the end of March and will serve the Cottage Grove community and surrounding areas.

“At One Community Bank we believe in serving clients, supporting colleagues, and investing in our communities. We are proud to continue investing in our communities by opening One Community Bank – Cottage Grove,” Steve Peotter, president and CEO, said in a statement.

One Community Bank is one of the largest community banks in south central Wisconsin. The locally owned bank has 16 bank locations and $2.1 billion in assets. It works with residents in areas including Oreon, McFarland, Waunakee, Stoughton, Sun Prairie, Middleton and Adams.

“We have been fortunate to continue developing client relationships and funding new projects in Cottage Grove during the construction,” Peotter continued.

The new bank is at 1565 Landmark Drive between Commerce Parkway and Limestone Pass. One Community Bank worked with OPN Architects and Ideal Builders on the new 6,000-square-foot location, which features a bright and modern design.

One Community Bank - Cottage Grove will offer full-service banking capabilities to current and future clients. It will feature a drive-up lane with a teller window and an ATM/ITM.

Enjoyiana Nururdin, M.A. "on-jee-ahna nerd-een" joined WKOW as a Digital Content Producer in March 2024. She is originally from Madison, where she attended La Follette High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her Bachelor of Arts in Reporting.At UW-Madison, she served as the Managing Editor for The Black Voice, a Black-student-led online publication, and as the Student Representative for the National Association of Black Journalists. Enjoyiana was also a food reporter for The Capital Times, featuring local eateries near Madison's campus. She became fascinated with coverage of the 2020 Presidential Election and decided to continue her education in political science and media studies. After graduating from UW, Enjoyiana pursued her Master of Arts in Political Journalism from Columbia University in the City of New York. Her master's thesis highlighted mutual aid efforts in food security and activism in Black and Brown communities.
