Staying windy Wednesday night, more sun Thursday

Good evening! The Twin Cities, west-central Wisconsin and southern Minnesota are still under a Wind Advisory until 10 PM tonight. So far gusts have gotten into the 40-mph range today, but wind gusts could reach to about 50 mph within the advisory area. We stay breezy overnight and throughout your Thursday forecast with northerly winds at about 15-25 mph. Light winds return overnight Thursday into Friday.

While I expect mainly clear skies tonight across most of Minnesota, far eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin will have partly cloudy skies at times overnight into tomorrow. Temperatures tomorrow are back into the low-50s with partly sunny skies. Friday is nicer with sunny skies, warmer temperatures in the mid-50s and lighter winds.

A rainier stretch of weather arrives overnight Saturday into Sunday with scattered rain likely. Off and on scattered rain showers stay in the forecast Monday as well.

Have a wonderful night!
