OLYMPIA, Wash. — If you're looking to hit big on a lottery ticket, you may want to consider heading to the south Puget Sound region.
Washington's Lottery released a list of the "luckiest" retailers in the area — aka the stores that sold the most tickets in Washington state worth $1,000 or more in 2023.
The south Sound was named the luckiest region in the state for the sixth year in a row, with the top 10 retailers totaling 139 wins. Leading the charge is a Maple Valley Safeway.

- 15 wins: Fred Meyer, 33702 21st Avenue SW in Federal Way
- 15 wins: Safeway, 10223 Gravelly Lake Drive SW in Lakewood

The north Sound registered 81 wins of $1,000 or more, securing its spot as the second-luckiest region in Washington state.
