Paris Saint-Germain held talks with Chelsea over the possibility of signing Reece James during a recent trip to Saint-Tropez, as reported by Football Transfers.
PSG are interested in the 24-year-old, who suffered a host of injuries that kept him out of action for extended periods of time.
However, the Parisian giants were informed that the right-back will likely remain at Stamford Bridge at least until the summer of 2025.
Manchester City are also following the England international, as coach Pep Guardiola looks for an eventual successor to Kyle Walker.
The Chelsea captain underwent surgery in December for a hamstring injury and has yet to return.
James made nine appearances this season across all competitions with only 452 minutes under his belt.
