I believe that music has healing powers. It evokes memories and emotions, brightens dreary days, motivates us and empowers us. Patsy Cline is my all-time favorite female vocal artist, not necessarily because I remember her well, but because she was my Nanny’s favorite and she played her records all the time. I was blessed to hear Frank Sinatra at Carnegie Hall and instantly became a “Frank fan” of epic proportions. In my book, you just can’t beat Etta James, Jimmy Buffett, the Eagles, The Beach Boys, Rod Stewart, old time gospel quartet music and that’s just a start to my eclectic list of favorites.
