Hampden Children’s Day committee seeking volunteers

Hampden, Maine (WABI) - The Hampden Children’s Day committee is desperately seeking volunteers to help make the event happen
Before a meeting Monday the committee made a Facebook post about potentially having to permanently end the event due to the low volume of volunteers.
After Mondays meeting they decided to move forward with plans with hope that more volunteers will step up before their next meeting in April.
The committee is seeking volunteers to help the day before, the day of, and the day after the event.
They also need people to volunteer as chairs of sub-committees to help with the planning process.
