PALMDALE — Blood donors can help save up to three lives with a single donation.
If you would like to help save a life sign up for the Palmdale High School Falcons Day of Blood Donation.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 30 in the school’s cafeteria, 2137 East Ave. R.
Donors will receive a choice of a T-shirt or food from In-N-Out. To register, visit donatebloodcedars.org and use donor group name PDHS.
Donors must have a photo identification, be in good general health and age 16 (with parental consent form) and older. First-time donors are welcome and can find out their own individual blood type at no charge. Tattoos and body piercings are accepted. Most common daily medications are OK. Eat first and be well-hydrated.
