Three men arrested, charged in connection with Dublin shooting that killed 2 and wounded others

In a release, the GBI says they charged Jaswain Bell and two others in connection with the shooting.

DUBLIN, Ga. — Update, April 3 at 1:17 p.m.:

The GBI has arrested and charged three people in relation to the Sunday Dublin shooting.

In a release, they confirmed they arrested 23-year-old Jaswain Martwain Bell in relation to the case.

He is charged with two counts of Felony Murder, seven counts of aggravated assault, seven counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, seven counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and street gang terrorism and prevention.

 22-year-old Kyndall Xavier Ashante Brazeal of Rentz, Georgia was also arrested.

Brazeal is charged with two counts of party to a crime of felony murder,  seven counts of party to the crime of aggravated assault, and street gang terrorism and prevention.

Finally, 27-year-old Quintez Dewayne Mercer of East Dublin was arrested and charged with two counts of felony murder, seven counts of aggravated assault, seven counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, seven counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and street gang terrorism and prevention.

The release says all three have been booked into the Laurens County Detention Center.  

The GBI also said that only one victim of the shooting remains in the hospital, and is in stable condition.

A man is now in the Laurens County Jail, accused of two murders and seven aggravated assaults.

According to jail records, he is identified as Jaswain Bell.

Bell faces several other charges, including weapons and gang-related charges.

He was booked into the jail just after 9 p.m. Tuesday night, and is in jail without bond. 

So far, the GBI won't confirm that he is the suspect in a Sunday-morning shooting in Dublin that killed two people and wounded several others.

That happened around 2 a.m. Sunday on the 500 block of West Street.

The GBI says someone opened fire on a home where a party was happening.
