Gail's concerned granddaughters are adamant she's been scammed
A 69-YEAR-OLD woman believes she's engaged to rap star 'Post Malone' - despite the fact he has a Jamaican accent and bought her cheap rings that turned her fingers green.
Gail is convinced she's been in a relationship with the musician for over two years and has even handed over a whopping £2k in cash to her lover.

However, her worried granddaughters Megan and Brandy are adamant she's being catfished by a scammer posing as the world famous singer-song writer.
"I live with my grandmother and she's talking to an individual who she thinks is 'Post Malone,'" explains Brandy, appearing on US talk show, Dr Phil.
"She's convinced they're engaged...my reaction was this is a joke, it's got to be a joke."
Brandy goes on to say that whenever her gran hears Post Malone's music on the radio, she dances all over and declares it's her husband.

"It's embarrassing," she admits.

Meanwhile, Gail's other concerned granddaughter Megan agrees with Brandy and says she knows it's a scammer playing her grandma.
"In what world would a 27-year-old rap star, who can have any girl he wants, want to do with a 70-year-old woman?" she asks, in the episode, which was filmed a year ago.
Not only does Gail believe they're engaged, but Megan says her grandmother also thinks Post Malone is watching her every move and believes that he's making a documentary based on her life.

But despite what everyone else thinks, a defiant Gail is adamant she's talking to the real deal and doesn't mind that they've only spoken on the phone a handful of times - adding that's just "part of the magic."
Brandy and Megan aren't the only worried ones either....
Gail’s daughter Michelle explains that while her mum has always had an obsession with men, this is the worst she's seen it.
In fact, she's been so concerned, she says she even took her mum to the doctors and had them do a mental evaluation, but notes they didn't find anything wrong with her.
Michelle warns that her next step is to take her in front of a judge and to take a power of attorney.

"I try to tell my mum that you're not talking to Post Malone, this person is asking for money - why would he need your money?" she says.
Dr Phil points out that Gail has never seen or met her lover within the two years they've supposedly been talking and is super secretive about the relationship, in part, to hide the financial transactions that she doesn't want her loved ones to see.
"The three or four, five, six times he's called me it'd be a Jamaican accent to supposedly hide his identity," Gail explains.
When asked why he'd do that if he is who he says, she replies: "I don't know... playing the game."
Dr Phil goes on to explain how Gail believes that 'Post Malone' can see and hear things that she does, that he moves moves her limbs and sends energy to her body, and that he has drones and secret cameras in the house.
Gail also claims to have something that feels like a chip on the left-hand side of her body and that 'Post Malone' is controlling her through her cell phone.

But when Dr Phil offers proof that the person she has been talking to is not who she thinks he is, Gail rejects it.

"People don't control other people through cell phones and the fact that you're willing to believe that tells me that your thought process is disrupted and that you need to be willing to look at your reasoning," he says.
However, Gail insists that's she's not "crazy" and eventually agrees to take a neurological test - the results of which were not revealed on the show.
