NKY death related to Tuesday’s storms
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WXIX) - A man died in a weather-related two-vehicle crash in Campbell County, said Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear as he gave an update on the state’s response to Tuesday’s storms.
The governor’s office confirmed the crash happened around 2 p.m. on Kentucky AA highway east of the Alexandria Pike exit.
Family says the man killed is Brady Delaney
Gov. Beshear says the National Weather Service has confirmed EF1 tornadoes in the following counties:
- Anderson
- Bourbon
- Nelson
- Jessamine
- Prospect across Jefferson and Oldham Counties
Beshear says possible tornadoes are being evaluated in Boyd, Harlan, Shelby and Simpson counties.
Straight-line wind damage has been confirmed in Fayette, Mercer, Spencer and Woodford counties, the governor said.
In total, damage has been reported in more than 20 counties in Kentucky.
